A TWO DAY COURSE FOR MANAGERS OR STAFF WHO HAVE TO TRAIN OTHERS

             

Do you have to train other people in your organisation?

How do you know that your trainees have learnt properly?

             

This practical and interactive two day course is aimed at anyone who is new to formal training, could do with a refresher, or who has to give training sessions on their  topic of expertise but have had little or no formal training. 

 

Main aim:   To enable participants to refresh and develop the skills required to deliver effective measurable learning to groups

 

Specific Objectives:

 

By the end of the training programme, participants will be able to:

  • Outline the role of the trainer

  • Describe how people learn

  • Identify own learning style

  • Apply the principles of learning styles by adopting a variety of training methods

  • Analyse and identify learning needs

  • Write measurable learning objectives

  • Develop a coaching plan or training session

  • Create a list of challenging questioning to test learning

  • Demonstrate effective use of equipment

  • Conduct an effective training session

  • Interpret difficult behaviours and have a strategy to deal with them

  • Identify ways of evaluating outcomes of coaching and training

  • Develop an action plan to continue to apply the learning to the work place
